Namritha Nori / Traces & Roots From India to Italy across Anatolia
Namritha Nori / Spuren & Wurzeln Von Indien nach Italien quer durch Anatolien
Veranstaltet von: Namritha Nori, Valentina Bellanova
Ort: BAVUL - Kunst & Kultur Café, Annenstraße 13, Berlin - Mitte
Über die Veranstaltung
DE

"From India to Italy, across Anatolia and the Middle East, Namritha’s music — and her latest album Traces and Roots — tells the story of her multiple roots.
Stories of diaspora, cultural blending, and the search for identity unfold through Namritha’s original songs — composed in Spanish, French, Venetian dialect, Greek, and Arabic — interwoven with traditional Sephardic and Greek Anatolian melodies.
Accompanied by the melodic storytelling of Valentina Bellanova on ney, Alvise Seggi on cello and Shingo Ali Masuda on kanun, the music creates a dialogue across cultures, where each song becomes a world within a world — a journey between East and West.
