Michal Vajdička, Czech Republic, 2023, 140 min. (without a break), Czech. ver.
📖 The production was based on the short story book and film script by the famous Scottish writer Irvin Welsh Acid House. The sad heroes are young people who cannot break free from the strange hopelessness of their lost existence. Welsh's novels and short stories are brutally honest, full of drugs, rough language and football; they explore the dark corners of the world and the human soul. However, beneath the darkly humorous surface of the anecdotes hides a substantial and impressive generation statement. Ocpanej system won the Alfréd Radok Award for the best production of 2012. Ivan Trojan won the Alfréd Radok Award 2012 in the male acting category for the role of God and was also nominated for the Thalia Award for this role.
Performing: Ivan Trojan, Miroslav Krobot, Václav Neužil, Hynek Čermák / Matěj Hádek, Jaroslav Plesl / Lukáš Příkazký, Petr Vršek, Martin Myšička / Pavel Šimčík, Martin Pechlát, Jana Holcová, Klára Melíšková, Lenka Krobotová and others.
Director: Michal Vajdička
Director of live broadcast and recording: Jakub Tabery
Translation: Olga Bártová
Theatrical adaptation: Daniel Majling
