Arjen Fortuin was still a teenager when he read Abel Gholaerts from Louis Paul Boon. A lifelong fascination for his oeuvre was born. He is currently working on a biography of "The rebel of Flemish literature". Fortuin previously wrote the biographies of Gerrit Kouwenaar and Geert van Oorschot. He hopes to be able to publish Boon's fiftieth year in 2029. Fortuin: "Louis Paul Boon was my first and greatest literary love." Liliane Waanders makes an interim balance with him.
