About event
Braňo Jobus is a truly exceptional Slovak singer, musician, writer and founder of the music festival Vrbovské vetry.
He became known as the leader of the music groups Karpatské chrbáty, Vrbovský vážíci, or through the music project Abusus. Jobus' performance is characterized by a strong dose of wit, recession and local patriotism, on the basis of which he has become a sought-after personality of the Slovak alternative scene.
If Braňo brings a bass guitar from a spade or a guitar from a satellite with him to the stage, please do not be surprised . These, in addition to the waste pipe instruments, are his usual musical instruments. :)
The pair of Braňo Jobus and Marián Čekovský have never performed on the same stage before /except for the recent recording of ČEKY HUDBNYCH LABÁKOV/, so we have something to look forward to. Both are unconventional, both are great improvisers and both are masters of several crafts.
They will be countered by the fantastic Mária Podhradská with her excellent singing and natural charm.
