For celebration of his 15th birthday, the artificial building showed a large anniversary exhibition With around 250 works by artists who have exhibited here since the opening in September 2010. To the vernissage on September 5, the artists involved bring their works in the format up to DIN A3 and place them in the room themselves. A lively, communal live hanging, which gathered both established positions and exciting new discoveries. Lauber, PC nude, pitch tuner, Kool Ray, Sorry Gilberto, Urkwell, Nikko Weidemann, Yaneq and many more.

The project room operated by artists was initiated in 2010 by Jan Kage, who made the 100 m² space with its striking 25 meter long window front a fixed size of the Berlin art scene. The idea: make classic opening times superfluous - the exhibitions can be viewed around the clock from the street. New presentations have been held every month. Apart from that, the room is still largely free of funding and above all through self -initiative. Since the beginning of 2023, the Berlin artist Jan Brokof has been supporting the project as a co-organizer.

The exhibition area is located in a Buzke-Werke building, today as the Aqua Höfe became known in Kreuzberg, was a historical factory for sanitary fittings that was founded at the end of the 19th century. Today the listed buildings of the former production are a center for start-ups, creative industries and a lively club culture, especially the well-known club Ritter Butzke. The show window is and remains a place that brings together art and music and puts people with a different background together.

A long way - and far from the end.
celebrates with us on Friday, September 5th, from 6 p.m.! [email protected]
