💙 WHY WILL WE MEET?
Banskobystrica folklorists join the reminder on November 17. For us, this day symbolizes the courage and determination of people to stand against the totalitarian regime and fight for human rights, freedom of speech and democracy. Its significance for us is not only historical, but remains still relevant; it reminds us that freedom and democracy are not a matter of course, but values that must be strived for and that we must protect even today.
💙 WHAT WILL WE DO?
Together with a large folklore family in many other cities and towns of Slovakia, we will commemorate the Nežná revolution gently, with singing, dancing and music. We will be happy if you join the joint dance fun, sing and play with us.
💙 WHO WILL PARTICIPATE?
You will be addressed by folklorist ALŽBETA LUKÁČOVÁ, who is also the main organizer of the event.
You will be taught to dance by dance masters PETER and MARTINA HRABOVSKÍ.
You will be taken to dance, music and singing by: Folklore Ensemble URPÍN, University Folklore Ensemble MLADOSť, Folklore Ensemble PARTISÁN, Folklore Ensemble SENIORI PARTISÁN, Men's Singing Group UFS MLADOSť, Women's Singing Group HOJANA, Women's Singing Group TRNKI.
