About event
The Civic Conservative Party (OKS), the M.R. Štefánik Conservative Institute, the Demokrati civil association, Civic Democratic Youth, the Institute for Public Issues, Peace of Ukraine, Free Belarus, ICEJ Slovakia, the Slovak Falun Gong Association, the Hungarian Forum and the Young Saskári invite you to a memorial meeting to commemorate the democratic revolution in Czechoslovakia in November 1989.
The traditional meeting will take place on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. at the Memorial to the Victims of Communism on Jakub Square in Bratislava.
The event will feature the man of Novembra'89 Peter Zajac, former member of the National People's Republic of Slovakia Peter Osuský and other representatives of the organizations that organize the meeting.
We will remember the most important event in our modern history, but also that the fight for freedom and democracy is still not over and that in addition to defending them in Slovakia, it is necessary to support those who are fighting for their freedom and democracy against aggression from Putin's Russia, or against domestic dictatorial regimes.
