About event
We don't care.
This is also why we decided in Viech pod klenbami on the (still) national holiday of November 17 - the Day of the Fight for Freedom and Democracy, to organize a discussion forum under the name November 17 still connects.
From 7:30 p.m., an informal discussion evening begins on the topic of the legacy of November 17 in today's busy times. The invited guests will share their memories, opinions and visions.
The moderated discussion will last approximately one hour, there will also be room for questions. This will be followed by a free discussion over a glass of wine.
We would like to welcome everyone who is not indifferent to the further fate of democracy in Slovakia, wants to talk about this topic and is able and willing to accept different opinions within the limits of a decent and argumentative debate.
We don't want officialdom, we would like to create a community of people for this evening, who will leave with a good feeling that this country is for every citizen and still has hope.
Invited guests:
Peter Lieskovský, one of the main actors of November 89 in Prešov.
Peter Mihoč, bishop of the Eastern District of the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession at Slovakia.
Moderated by: Michal Frank, journalist, editor of the Korzár daily.
Entry credit (fully usable as consumption): 5 euros/person.
Table reservations, info: 0915 944245, 0905 235196, or in person in Vieche pod klenbami.
