Let's draw freedom: we will celebrate November 17 with colored chalks and a symbolic entrance fee 🥳
On Monday we commemorate the Day of the Fight for Freedom and Democracy and at the same time the International Student Day - a holiday that belongs to the courage, education and free thinking of young people. On this occasion, we have prepared a special entrance fee for our visitors:
👩🎓👦 Children and students pay a symbolic 1 euro
👥🧑🤝🧑Adults discounted entrance fee 7 euros
The holiday of November 17 has a deep meaning for students. We recall the events of 1939, when the Nazi regime closed Czech universities and persecuted students, and the year 1989, when it was student protests that started the fall of the totalitarian regime. Since then, this day has been associated with freedom, the courage to stand up for the truth and the desire for knowledge.
🌈In order for the celebration on November 17 to have a colorful dimension, we will provide chalks for children and creative adults who will be able to draw on the marked path near the Plameniak buffet and leave their messages and pictures of freedom, friendship and nature.
Zoo Bratislava invites everyone; children, students, families and friends to come and celebrate November 17 in an environment full of life, creativity and mutual understanding.

Tickets can only be purchased physically at the ticket office, students should bring a valid ISIC or other school ID.
