18 ANIVERSARI - BENASQUE - MEETUP LAST DANCE

Hello again, dear friends.

Here we are, Jordi and myself, organizing this event to commemorate the **18th anniversary of the group**, an anniversary that is also going to be a farewell, since we have decided to end the stage in Meetup.

Does this mean that the group is going to disappear? No, we are going to continue making proposals, but we are going to use other platforms, basically **Facebook and WhatsApp**.

Soon we will create a **WhatsApp** group specific to the events.

This decision is the result of a series of circumstances. Meetup is increasingly a more hostile platform, insisting new recruits pay for registration. A loss of identity that it is suffering when in essence it was a platform that united people for common interests. **Now what encourages groups to be led by companies that only seek profit.**
On the other hand, the lack of people who want to contribute part of their time in order to organize events has not helped to keep the group active either.
All of this has led us to make this decision, which is painful to say the least.

But hey, let's get on with it, because we want the celebration of the group's **18th anniversary** to live up to all the successes and all the people who have shared experiences with us.

We have chosen **Benasque** because of the number of proposals of all levels that we have in the surroundings, because of the cheap accommodation at the Mountain School, because of the gastronomy (on Saturday we will have a great dinner) and because we can have nightlife.

We will stay at the **Benasque Mountain School Refuge**, the price for just one night (without breakfast or dinner) is **34.5 euros** per person for 2 nights, Friday and Saturday, and you will have to send this amount to me (Isra) via Bizum, whoever does not have my phone number I will send it privately, here you can check the prices, once we receive the Bizum we will confirm attendance.

The idea is that everyone gets their own dinner on Friday and on Saturday we will look for a place to have dinner all together. If someone wants breakfast, they can order it and pay for it on the same day they arrive at the shelter.

Departure times and drivers. In principle we are going to set 3 departure times at 3:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The meeting point will be Palau Reial, then, if **all** the members of a car would prefer another meeting point, there is no problem in organizing yourself at that place. We will update the information here:

The price per car is 116 euros, to be distributed among the occupants except the driver.

As for mountain activities, it is likely that there will be more than one proposal, in the area there are easy routes such as the **Cerler waterfalls** and very difficult routes, in principle I am going to propose an easy 3000, which is the **Araguells**, although depending on whether there are more proposals and several groups come out, we may do an **Aneto**, for now I will leave you the track for the Araguells.
