About event
Disgust replaces 1914!
Due to the development of the war in Ukraine, 1914 has had to cancel their entire European tour with Katla and therefore also the show on the combustion. Therefore, the combustion has invited disgust to sharing the scene with Katla for an extra much needed evening with love and Satan.
Disgust is Ole Luk's black metal solo project that guarantees a unique and experimental live experience. With both acoustic and dark melodic passages mixed with strong personal lyrics, the music draws the audience into a completely dark universe like no other.
To put the mood for the evening, sacrifice with a heavy game of dungeon synth directly out of the darkest crypt.
------
Offermose is added as support to 1914 and Katla!
Come into a dark world of mysticism and nostalgia when sacrifice sets off in the evening with a heavy game of Dungeon Synth. Sink down the infinite depth of the dystopian sound universe, and give yourself to intense and atmospheric experience.
The combustion presents a heavy evening with Doom When we invite 1914 and Katla into the Vestegnens Concrete Castle with their "Anthems for Doomed Youth Tour 2025" 🔥
1914 entered Danish soil for the first time when they entered the stage at the combustion's metal festival death in 2024 as this year's main name. The band retells stories from the First World War with the use of original lyrics and audio clips from the war time, and with their brutal Blackened Death/Doom, it becomes an evening of storytelling of the darkest kind.
The band has several critically acclaimed releases behind them, and after their well -acclaimed concert on the death of death, one has to bend in the dust for their army. They've come to stay.
Katla is the band that doesn't need an introduction. They are known for paid tribute to life, toast for their audience, and not least love and Satan. With 2 critically acclaimed EPs in the back and an album around the corner, they have long since left their mark on the Danish metal scene. The last time the long-haired trio was in Albertslund, they delivered one of their best concerts to date on death in 2023. Katla plays hard and their heavy pace draws parallels to sludge metal with an energy that is the epitome of all that extreme music entails. With cold bays, together with Katla, we have to celebrate life and offer 1914 inside the walls of the combustion.
