2. Step challenge with Daša NAD RAČÁ + NORDIC WALKING / 29.10./SMS REGISTRATION

About event
We invite you to the second step challenge in 2024! We continue in the popular Rača.
We will be accompanied by our friend Daša, who knows the nooks and crannies of Rača's nature well and is an experienced tourist. The walk will also be connected with Nordic walking, our Evka will explain the technique of Nordic walking. It is necessary to bring Nordic walking poles.
We will walk together "Miesta nad Račou" and visit places: Potočná ul., Haluzický monument, the place under the Biely Kríž, Kráľova buda, Biely Kríž and we will go back through Miligrunty and Slalom.
Total time approx. 2.5-3 hours.
Total length of the route there and back approx. 9-10 km, altitude: Potočná 223 m.a.s.l.., Biely kríž 499 m.a.s.l.
I draw your attention to the steeper climb at the beginning of Potočná.
We will also rest during the walk.
We recommend wearing good shoes for the terrain. Also bring a drinking regimen - water and possibly your favorite energy bar.
HEALTH RISKS
Please consider, based on your health condition (if you have undergone a certain operation), whether the hike is for you. Everyone is responsible for themselves on the walk. We adjust the pace of the walk according to the current composition of the group.
MEETING:
Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Detvianska BUS stop (near the former SLSP building).
At 10:00 a.m. 07 we will take bus no. 52 to Potočná.
Transport connection: tram. stop (no. 3), Detvianska stop

The step challenge is organized by the civic association Seniors in Motion in cooperation with Dáša Juríková and Eva Soldánová.
