In this two-day training course on October 1st and October 22nd, we will deal with the legal and social situation of trans* and non-binary people and discuss how this affects parenthood and becoming parents.
The first day can be booked individually. Registration for the second day is only possible if the first day has been attended, as detailed knowledge of trans* lifestyles is necessary for participation. When registering, please write if you have already attended the first training day in 2023 or 2024.
After the training, the participants have knowledge about the requirements for a legal and medical transition, about social discrimination and its effects and are able to recognize transphobic and transnegative images. Reflection methods help participants to think about their practice and their own images of gender in order to identify potential for support.
