About event
🧶 24-hour crochet marathon: Threads that connect
Get your hooks ready and a good dose of energy! We invite you to the first ever crochet marathon in Košice, which is not only about wool, but about creating a mosaic of respect and mutual understanding. 🌈
We are organizing this weekend festival on the occasion of the International Day Against Homo, Bi, Trans and Intersex Phobia (IDAHOBIT) and Rainbow Ribbon Day. Come exactly as you are - every single point counts!
✨ What can you look forward to?
24-hour marathon: From Saturday 10:30 a.m. to Sunday 10:30 a.m. Join us for a morning coffee, a night shift or cover the whole route with us!
Cupping - sensory coffee tasting (2:00 pm - 2:45 pm)
Crochet workshop with Zlatica: If you are a beginner, we will teach you everything (Saturday 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm).
Wire workshop with Ľubka: Try it yourself traditional craft in a modern dress (Saturday 17:00 - 19:00).
House of Elisabeth show and karaoke: Enjoy a unique show combining drag, singing, dance and poetry and perform on stage during karaoke (Saturday from 19:00).
Treasures from the shelf SWAP: Exchange old joys for new ones in cooperation with OZ HLAVA DERAVÁ (Saturday 16:00 - 19:00)
📋 Practical information:
📍 Where: Košice (entrance is free)
🧶 What to bring: Your own hooks and wool (rainbow colors are welcome!), ready-made works for inspiration and the desire to communicate.
🙌 For whom: For professionals, beginners and curious.
It doesn't matter how many stitches you manage to make. The important thing is that we will create together in a friendly and open atmosphere.
Whoever wants to stay the night will also have the opportunity to stretch out and sleep.
