The ninera is a stringed musical instrument, the strings of which are sounded by the friction of a wooden wheel. (wiki) for strings we will present two different approaches to this instrument.
Lukáš Lacko comes from Devínská Nová Ves, where he started attending DFS Kobylka as a 5-year-old. Thanks to his clumsiness, two years later he got from the dance department to the music department, which was led by Milan Rusko. He taught him to play folk instruments and especially bagpipes. Lukáš's favorite bagpipe region is Pohronský Inovec, but he also plays medieval bagpipes and is also interested in bagpipes from foreign countries.
Line Gate has been playing the niner for ten years and focuses on its possibilities of the never-ending sound of held drones, under which pre-recorded vocal loops are played from an mp3 player. The overall sound is complemented by subtly sung melodic lines.
