The City Hall of Santa Maria Maior and Xistarca come together again to promote the 3rd Great New Year's Race Santa Maria Maior, on January 5th (Sunday), starting from the emblematic Praça do Commerce.
The route will be in the historic center of the city and will be divided into three categories: 400m kids race (9h30), 10km run (10h00) and 5km walk (10h05). Registration is now open, preferably online, but also in person at Xistarca's premises, from 9:30 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6:30 pm, every working day. Those registered will receive a participant kit.
Bring your family and friends and participate in this event that marks the beginning of the 2025 sports calendar in Santa Maria Maior!
