About event
The exhibition 40-year story of the theater captures productions, creative personalities and the formation of poetics of one of the longest continuously operating alternative theaters in Slovakia, the GUnaGU Theatre.
The theater, which was founded by a trio of enthusiastic university students Viliam Klimáček, Ivan Mizera and Zuzana Benešová, gradually established itself as a significant professional theater group that enjoyed the favor and attention of the professional and lay public.
Viliam Klimáček as a playwright, director and director, crucially shaped the repertoire of GUnaGU through a distinctive dramatic manuscript, current topics that touch the past, present and future. Small histories of people and countries are reflected in them and thus become a critical chronicle of the events we experience.
17:00 in the Gallery of the Slovak Press Photo Foundation at Františkánská námestí 7 in Bratislava
