Dear community,
We regret to inform you that, due to circumstances completely beyond our control, we have decided to cancel the Christmas Skating Event scheduled for December 5th.
We have received information indicating that there may be immigration enforcement activity in the area that day, and at this time, we do not have legal observers or the volunteer team needed to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being. As an organization, our priority is to protect our immigrant community and avoid any situation that could put families at risk.
We deeply appreciate your understanding. We know how much joy this event brings every year, and we hope to gather again very soon in a safe space to celebrate our traditions.
With care and respect,
Venezuela's Voice in Oregon

Querida comunidad,
