About event
🥾 We cordially invite students and employees of all faculties of Charles University to the 5th anniversary march "From Trojka to Petřín", which takes place as part of the Rector's Sports Day! Although the destination and symbolism of the march is mainly aimed at students of medical fields, everyone who wants to support this beautiful tradition is welcome.
The march leads through Prague parks, the route is approximately 11.5 km long, the expected duration of the march is 2.5 hours.
START: in the parking lot in front of the main building of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine UK
FINAL: the gardens of the Sisters of Mercy Hospital of St. Karel Boromejský (NMSKB) in Petřín, i.e. places that are not normally accessible

Refreshments are provided for participants who reach the finish line. In cooperation with the head nurse Mgr. A cultural program has also been prepared by Dobromila Sukupová and her colleagues from the NMSKB - an introduction to the history and present of the NMSKB.
The maximum number of participants is 120, divided into 4 groups.
• Registration of the 1st group (students) from 7.45 | start at 8.00
• Registration of the 2nd group (employees) from 8.00 | start at 8.15
• Registration of the 3rd group (students) from 8.15 | start at 8.30
• Registration of the 4th group (students) from 8.30 | start at 8.45

• The idea of the march arose in 2020 on the occasion of the International Year of Nurses and Midwives. Despite the pandemic pause, which postponed the first year until 2022, we managed to build a beautiful tradition that grows every year in participation and atmosphere. to those who built our profession before us.
