50 anys de la mort de Franco: perspectives històriques actuals sobre la dictadura

Fifty years after Franco's disappearance, it seems appropriate to reflect on a dictatorship that has determined much of our contemporary history. Through four conferences and a first round table, we will have the participation of renowned specialists who in recent years have made key contributions to our understanding of the Franco regime: from the portrait of who was responsible for the studies focused on their two major stages - with the censorship represented by the change of international alliances and the forced economic openness - and in its international context, including the process of international context. At the same time, a round table is proposed with the four speakers to discuss the changing and conflicting nature of the regime. Finally, a round table will be closed with four protagonists of this transformation experienced half a century ago, giving their experiences in the first person of different political, cultural, economic and social aspects, as well as their always relevant reflections to understand the legacy of the dictatorship.
