Czech-French cooperation with centuries-old. If we think about working in aviation, the roots go further before we can imagine. The first French aeronous, who ever rose above the capital city of Prague, became the Frenchman Jean-Pierre Blanchard in October 1790. He piloted a hot air balloon. Aviation, who was the first to fly over the capital of the Kingdom of Bohemia in December 1909 on a heavier air aircraft, again came from France and named Louis-Julien Gaubert. The first Czech pilot Ing. Jan Kašpar took off for the first time in the French Blériot XI aircraft in April 1910 and in August 1910 he had a public take -off at Prosek. It is certainly not to be reminded that the unique film of the Eiffel Tower from the balloon was taken in April 1904 by a native of Mělník Emanuel Quoik, the first Austro-Hungarian pilot, which has ever taken off on a aircraft heavier air. How else, in the French aircraft Blériot XI. Without French aircraft, the Czechoslovak army would not have succeeded in fighting with the Hungarian Republic of Council. An important air transport company was the Franko-Rumun Airspan Society, which in 1922 connected Kbely airport with world capitals. The Czechoslovaks also fought from 1939 to 1940 for France and Freedom of Fatherland, and then operated over France until 1945. And there were, of course, the Praguers, or the natives of the surrounding municipalities. After World War II, the cooperation fell silent. She did not disappear, but gained a new dimension given by the situation in divided Europe at that time. Czech and French societies work with integral forces in the area of aircraft heavier air, unmanned aircraft, missiles, but also in space research and in the construction of satellites. The last example is the Czech satellite Lionera2 (Lunar Vicinity Complex Environmental Explorer).
