About event
We invite you to the opening concert of the 59th Music Autumn Music Autumn, which will ceremonially open the Fats Jazz Band. It was founded by Ladislav Fančovič, who rewrite the arrangements from the original old recordings into notes in the form of transcription.
You have a unique opportunity to hear exactly the arrangements as they were recorded by jazz legends in their time. Also, the reconstructed musical instruments, the period clothing and the overall manifestation of the orchestra are in full match with the period they represent. FJB also interprets songs of other jazz legends such as Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Count Basie, Teddy Wilson, Lester Young, Clarence Williams, Gene Krupa, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Peggy Lee and others. In the repertoire of this body, however, we also find Slovak compositions - foxtrots and thong, which became famous for Doyén's popular music František Krištof Veselý, Viera Racková and Dr. Janko Blaho and Czech compositions from the repertoire of Inca Zemánková, Jiřina Salačová or R. A. Dvorský. Gašpárek: Klarinet, saxophones
Matúš Uhliarik: singing, piano
Michal Matejka: guitar, banjo
Patrik Fičor: drums PKO Prešov. art of art.
Thank you for your favor and look forward to your visit.
