About event
The Finnish fusion folk band Slack Bird is going on a European tour with its new album “Jos Emme Saa Tanssia”. The Tour will also bring them to Prague, where they will play at the club 007 in Strahov together with Czech folk punkovka Fail Together. It comes from Central Finland and their wanderings through the world have introduced them from clubs in New York to forest huts in Germany and everywhere in between.
Slack Bird already have three albums in the collection, several singles and EPs and in the summer release their fourth studio album "Jos Emma Saa Tanssia". It only deepens their fusion Roots Music and adds to their App-Nordic folk the influences of the early Finnish pop music from the 1920s, the Balkan breath, Punk and New Orleans jazz.
on the occasion of the release of a new album re -sets to Europe and Great Britain as a five -member band.

Fail Together (CZ) They have the melody of Irish pubs, punk wildness and pathos of campfires. They started playing in three on the grass and concrete of Prague parks, ports and station. Gradually, they grew to other members and soon gained supporters in the Czech Republic and abroad. They play grinders and milks on banjo, violin, valch, bassbanjo, guitar and anything else that is at hand or what they make themselves and the tools like to change each other at concerts. These are stories about good and bad, what we all go through, about broken hearts, self -destruction and anxiety, but also about kindness, friendship and hope for better days.
Last year they released the Get Lost and are currently preparing another. They played at festivals such as Mighty Sounds, Banat in Romania, Wunstock and Knrd Festival in Germany, Boskovice, Fluff Fest, Povčkovice, Mišmash, Starák Fest, Autumn Dreaming, or Meeting and having the opportunity to play common concerts with the stars of the American Folk Punk as Bridge City Sinners State.
