Running together through the pre-Christmas season!
On Saturday, December 6th, 2025, it's that time again, the Berlin St. Nicholas Run goes into its ninth round and brings sporting exercise into the contemplative Advent season. What once started as a small running event with a lot of heart has long since developed into a fixed event for running enthusiasts from all over Berlin and beyond. This year we warmly invite you to become part of this special event.
As usual, the start and finish are in the wintry Grunewald, at Schlachtensee, whose winding paths and quiet nature provide an atmospheric backdrop for this pre-Christmas run. There are various route lengths to choose from, including an eighth, quarter or third marathon as well as the classic half marathon. Ideal for beginners, hobby runners and ambitious athletes alike. No matter what distance you choose, the focus is on the fun of the movement and the shared experience.
Of course, every participant receives a “finisher medal” and a “certificate” to commemorate this special event. A pre-Christmas atmosphere awaits you in the finish area with hot tea, mulled wine, bratwurst and presentation stands that round off the run in an enjoyable way.
