Traveler of ambiguous mental spaces and other quantum conjuncts, Evan Majumdar evokes the long historical musical musical of Sheffield. Son of a famous countercultural agitator of the city, this legacy does not hold him to a past story, but a story yet to tell. And in this sense, the young producer and DJ have paved a still short but solid, identity in the always crowded British electronic alloy. With an intense work pace, besides the mixes, albums or remnants that have been made official in recent years, themselves cultivates a robust digital file via Dropbox where it shares unheard of links - stretching this sound flow beyond the tangible. An example of this is 9696 Dream, safe disc of their origins that pass from the historic Warp catalog to the abstract reconfigurations of the Grim and Electro. Invariably zénite is reached when it moves away from logic; The rhythmic exercises that rise between arpeggios and melodic tunes that are born from an affordable introspection and an exploratory nature of creative possibilities to the structure.
