London multi-instrumentalist A.A. Williams returns to Prague! She quickly gained the attention of the music world with her dark and emotional style, which she calls with exaggeration as "Death Gospel". Her work combines elements of post-rock, gothic, metal, folk and classics into deep atmospheric compositions. They underline her velvet voice and masterful performance on guitar, piano or cello. The 2019 debut EP was followed by the award -winning album Forever Blue (2020), which received positive criticism for its melancholic depth and film mood. In 2022, it released its most ambitious work as the Moon RESTS, which combines difficult and gentle moments and uses rich string arrangements. In the Songs From Isolation project, which was created during the Covide Pandemy, offered a raw but moving cover version of the songs by Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead or The Cure. She transformed her early compositions as part of EP Arco into versions for string ensemble, showing her versatility and classical musical roots. She also collaborated with the band Mono on the dark beautiful song "Exit in Darkness" and its cover version "Jolene" by Dolly Parton became a worldwide viral hit.
A.A. Williams with such icons as Cult of Luna, Russian Circles, Sleep Token or Sisters of Mercy, but also became a sought -after headliner as part of her own concerts - including the show in London's London Queen Elizabeth Hall.
