Siddhartha In Car is a non-fictional autobiographical story of a Young Man who inadvertently sets out on a modern day/ metaphorical journey likened to the character Siddhartha from Hermann Hesse's 1922 novel, Siddhartha. Through his experiences, events and relationships he grows to see the innate goodness in humanity, The power of faith, and richness of connection. The story line is derived from my personal journey which started when I first crossed the country logging over twenty thousand miles on my thumb, hundreds of car rides, conversations, and adventures.
The story weaves a tapestry of adventures set to an eclectic blend of music, from Jazz Ballets, R&B, to Country, World Beat and Classical.
This special benefit event will offer a preview of our upcoming musical, including live performances of featured songs, special musical guest, readings from the script, and an inside look at the project's creation.
We'd love for you to join us and be part of this exciting journey.
