We invite everyone to a great community experience where tradition comes to life through folk music melodies and get closer to our own culture.
The Kassa Csámborgó Orchestra is one of the prominent bands of Hungarian folk music in Slovakia, which has been actively contributing to traditional music culture for decades. The band's repertoire is widespread and includes the traditional music of the various landscapes of the Carpathian Basin. During their performances, they play folk songs, dance music and other folk music genres in authentic arrangements.
Their guest is an invited guest Márton Pusko, a primate and a folk musician who is known as a major member of the Parapács band. Since its establishment in 2010, the band has actively contributed to the nurturing and promotion of the traditions of Hungarian folk music in the Highlands. In 2013, he won the Best Young Musician Award as part of the Hungarian Music Prize in Harmony, and in 2017 he was awarded the young master of the Hungarian State for his outstanding performing artist.
The program will be a good time to break a little out of the busy world and experience the sincere message of folk music without frills.
