A fiú // a Vekker Műhely előadása Nyitrán 🎭

The Boy goes into the wilderness. He crumbles away human relationships, he immerses himself in the world, this is how he should live, he feels the wind, the cold, the rain, the earth, the "dirt" on his skin. When you meet people, you meet them with this dirt. They don't want to see him in any other way than in this state of dust from the world. Mysteriousness is an important part of his personality - they don't understand him, and he does his best not to. Few of us dare to be lonely, few dare to be lonely. And yet he is not lonely in the strict sense of the word, he breaks down all the walls between the world and himself, while the wall between his current and former life is getting higher and higher. When he comes back, maybe he can talk to his father again, maybe he will become a militant activist, fighting against hunger in Africa. Maybe not, we don't know. He's not coming back. He would say it was worth it. Would he say it was worth it?

The play is based on a true story, telling a part of Chris McCandless's trip to Alaska. (The story became famous in Jon Krakauer's novel Út a vadonba.)
