About event

"The boy who wanted to tell everything"/Kriszta A. Literary historian, writer, book presentation of the 200 research groups of Jókai

2025. May 30 (Friday), 4:30 pm, Zichy-Pont Community Center, Komárom (SK)

"The boy who wanted to tell everything"/Mór Jókai's adventure story for children, small schools

Móra Jókai's 200th anniversary. In the biographical series of Naphegy Publisher, the boy, who wanted to tell everything, was published by Kriszta A. Kriszta A.'s storybook on the life of Mór Jókai.

The author dealt a lot with Jókai during his university years, then wrote his dissertation from Jókai's self -representation and his autobiography. In addition to his studies, he has been involved in literary life for many years, first as a member of the young Writers' Association, and later as an organizer of the PESTEXT Festival. He also works in a children's book publisher, an inspirational environment for him. The writer and publisher's intention were to break the stereotypes of Jókai, to lift his stiff figure from the pedestal and bring the writer closer to the children than a man. Anyone who was a small child as well as his readers made a mistake and made things that trigger others, but thanks to his talent and diligence, he was perhaps the most read author of his age. Márton Kakas's figure in his age was so popular that others published articles and parody even when Jókai had not used this pseudonym for a long time. Jókai's oeuvre still has many unexplored areas. ”
