Gábor Presser - Dusán Sztevanovity - Péter Horváth:
A Loft
- half fairy tale half musical for ages 9-99 in two parts -
The play takes place in a single night, in a capital attic In 1988, in the last years of communism. This is where Rádiós lives, the cybernetician, who is currently freelancing as an intellectual, since in 1986 he tried to establish contact with alien planets and extraterrestrials without permission, for which reason he was fired from the state headquarters. The four ghosts also arrive in this attic, Kid (the first one who dared to say that the king is naked), Prince (a sidelong Lombard duke who lost a bet against another duke as to which of them would wake up Sleeping Beauty), Lantern ( the eighth dwarf, who stood guard to protect his companions, but was forgotten after the arrival of Snow White) and Stalker (a good-natured executioner who tried to protect the innocently condemned Kid, but both were killed while escaping). The four wanderers were only accidentally stuck on Earth. They are looking for a weatherman to take them to the planet of the eternally beautiful. In the meantime, Barrábás, the bomb expert gangster, appears, whom the ghosts mistake for Révés, and Mamóka also appears sometimes, for example with a bowl of plum dumplings, and Süni, the Music Academician who lives next door, also stomps in, enchanting the ghosts with her heroism and charm, although she has been living in the good old attic for a long time I have the chosen one...
