What is 'A Practice in Intimacy'?
Think speed dating without the dating aspect. The goal is connection, pure and simple! Some describe this practice as Love Meditation.
This is an opening to beginning-level Tantra. We are creating a ceremony of worship and connection to help each other grow, expand and interweave the best parts of ourselves for a few minutes at a time.
You are invited to hold space for one another, wrap your arms around them, slow dance, slowly connect, and experience closeness through true unconditional intimacy regardless of age, race, skin color, gender, sexuality, identity, or any other pre-conceived notions.
Every song has been thoughtfully chosen, with lyrics to match a song-length journey of mindful practice of unconditional care for another person. Take turns providing and receiving hugs, hand holding, neck massage, heart-to-hand contact, and about a dozen other opportunities for connecting through touch.
Another term for this intimacy circle/ceremony that you will participate in is a ‘Puja’. In Sanskrit, this word is used by Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs, and many others to mean reverence, honor, homage, adoration, and worship. This is a ceremony to honor a very special occasion, a sacred ritual of connecting to the wisdom of the divine and channeling through any gods, Gods, or Deities that you may believe in or wish to visualize. This is an opportunity to practice opening your heart to unconditionally give and receive care and closeness.

About Our Facilitator, Author, Teacher - Jen Moss MFT
Jen is an author, nationwide speaker, and trainer/consultant in social work education and child abuse prevention. She has degrees in Marriage and Family Counseling and Sexology and teaches embodied somatic arts, relational intimacy, and health psychology. With over 20 years of practicing Tantra and teaching workshops in mental and sexual health, she supports people in having more satisfying relationships!
In addition to social work and other professional conferences, Jen passionately enjoys presenting on erotic mental health and educational topics at Tantric, Sensual, and Kink events nationwide. She feels this is one way that she can contribute to a sex-positive, sensually fulfilling, more connected world! Connection is the fulcrum of what brought her into dance, somatic arts and sacred sexuality. She refers to herself as a Sensual Fusionist in relation to her style of teaching dance and movement. When it comes to sacred sexuality, Tantra is not just a spiritual practice but one part of the multi-verse she lives and manifests within and from.
