Lucia Harvanová and Michal Matejčík graduated from the University in Vienna, where their journeys joined at a concert for the Slovak Ambassador. After the joint design of Thažs' meditation, they fell so much in the eye that they began to cooperate and created a duo of violins and harp. This was followed by a series of concerts that encountered a very positive response - for example at the International Operaral Festival in Banská Bystrica, at Sunday Matina in Mirbach, during the recital in Theresienfeld, Austria, at summer festivals at Červený Kamen or at the Tatra Flowers event. In addition to the classic repertoire, they also introduced a concert of film music for the first time.
Jazzinfection trio consists of: Sisa Michalides (composer and flutist), Robert Vizvári (composer and bassist) and Pavol Bereza (composer and guitarist). As musicians, they represent a unique combination of diverse musical colors on the jazz scene. The compositions of Sisa Michalides, interpretation and improvisation dynamics and virtuoso performances Vizvári and Berez offer a strong experience to the listener. Their work combines jazz elements, world music, traditional folklore (domestic and world) and theater imagination. Together they performed at concerts and festivals at home and abroad. Their mutual creation and musical experience resulted in the trio, which brings an alternative and provocative approach to music. The sound palette is complemented by the clear playfulness and invention of the recorder flute, as well as the ethereal vocal. The jazzinfection trio plays the author's compositions of its members - music stories that give the listener a unique artistic experience. Freedom and joy of creation, underlined by authentic improvisation, are key values that the trio gives to the audience. The release of the album was supported from public sources by the Art Support Fund. He is the leader of the orchestra Matúš Jakabčic CZ-SK Big Band and Visegrad Jazz Orchestra. His work and activities go beyond the borders of jazz, as evidenced by his intensive cooperation with classical orchestras of classical music, such as the Slovak Philharmonic or the State Philharmonic Košice, as well as with groups of the Moyzesovo Quartet. Fest 2025 in the House of Music in Bratislava.
