After a short break, Michal Pudelka (1990) returns to the photographic scene with an exhibition that represents a curatorial selection of his work. The series presented in the FOG Gallery combines older and brand new works, emphasizing the concept of a thin limit between conformity and individuality, between subordination and rebellion. By exploring these dualities, the exhibition offers a visual narrative that challenges the viewer's perception of authentic identity. Drawing inspiration from personal experience, his current photographs depict an environment where the journey of life is not only destined but also inherited. After the analysis of individual shots, we find ourselves in a system that serves as an anchor - with roots firmly holding the ground and branches grasping our fate. It is a power that at the same time limits and leads us, draws outlines around our being, while the silent desire to free itself begins to push our knowledge. However, they are not separate; They follow each other carefully. From the outside, the world looks inside and sees reality affected by pressure and restrictions. It is burdened with a silent burden of traditions passed from generation to generation, and fear of rigid rules that others determine. From the inside, the world looks out and sees, on the contrary, a huge empire of the unknown with the complexity of the stunning choice. It causes a paralyzing fear of diverting from the road where every decision acts as a crossroads. For the external community, those inside appear to be passive and resigned, and vice versa, for the internal community, those outside seem headless, unbound and even lost. The predefined values, ideals and beliefs are the basis in which we are brought up. Some will accept it. Some are rebelling. Others just watch. The boundaries of these alternatives are never clear and yet they shape us. In silent moments between activity and inactivity, a deeper understanding begins to appear. The courage to resist the authority and risks that it carries. The arrow is fired, time retains breath and fate is waiting to see if the cycle is repeated or cuts. And View/Michal Pudelka

IT IS A FORCE BOTH CONSTRAINING AND GUIDING, Drawing Boundaries AROUND ORUC, WHILE THE QUIET URGE TO BREAK FREE STARTS Pressing Against The Edges of Our Awareness. Yet, They Are Not Separate; They Carefully Observe One Another. From the Outside, The World Looks In, Seeing Reality Influenced by Pressure and Restrictions. It is Burdened by the Silent Weight of Tradition, Passed Down Through Generations, and the Fear of Rigid Rules Impossed by Others. From the Inside, The World Looks Out, Seeing and Vast Realm of the Unknown, with the Complexity of Overwhelming Choices. IT Projects and Paralyzing Fear of Veering Off Course, As Each Decision Feels Like and Crossroads. To the outer Community, Those on the Inside Seem Passive and Resigned; In Contrast, To The Inner Community, Those On the Outside Seem Reckless, Untethered, and Perhaps Even Lost. Predefined Values, Ideals, and Beliefs Form the Foundation in which we are raised. SOME ACCEPT IT. Some rebel. Some Only Observe. The Borders Between These Alternatives Are Never Clear, And Yet, They Shape Us. In the Quiet Moments Between Action and Inaction, and Deeeper Understanding Begins To Emerge. The Courage to Defy Authority and the Risks Involution in Standing Up To It. The Arrow is Shot, Time Holds Its Breath, and Fate Awaits WHETHER the CONTINUES OR BREAKS.
