Three years after the beginning of the war between Russia and Ukraine, the Ukrainian and Spanish embassies, along with the Cervantes Institute, screening of documentary film Abduited Childhood , which illustrates the reality suffering from the whole country.

Abduced Childhood /Vasyl Mosiychuk / Ukraine 2023 /47 min. / 16+ / in Ukrainian with English subtitles - the documentary tells the stories of Ukrainian children violently deported to Russia. This is a study about the current situation, forced deportation and the kidnapping of Ukrainian children Russia from temporarily occupied areas of Ukraine. In the documentary children and their parents tell their own stories. Ukrainian children were captured, some of them were forcibly taken to the so -called sanitary camps in Russia, others were separated from their parents. At the end of the screening there will be a discussion with a Ukrainian psychologist, group facilitator, national technical coordinator for children and armed conflicts / secretariat leading groups for children and armed conflicts Olena Skrypko and two children kidnapped and returned to Ukraine. P> kira: 17. March 2022 was killed by her father in a bomb attack. Kira and other residents of her house then hid in the cellar for some time. On March 25, they decided to try to leave Mariupol on foot, but when they left the city, they came across a minute. Kira and another child were injured; Ukrainian soldiers provided them with their first medical assistance. Later, the girls were transported by a vehicle to the village of Manguš, where Russian military forces were deployed. The Russian forces then deported to Donetsk. Kira's grandfather Oleksandr and his wife were also in Mariupol, but he managed to escape and move to the blacks. He was looking for his granddaughter all the time. On April 15, he was called by the Vice -Chairman of the Ukrainian Government Iryna Vereščuková and told him that she could come to her occupied territory through Russia. This effort was involved in the President's Office, the Red Cross and representatives of the Vatican. Russia carries out illegal transfers and mass deportation of Ukrainian children. The Ukrainian authorities have identified 19,546 cases of deported Ukrainian children, of which only 388 children have been successfully repatriated and connected with families.
