Absence ve Videoarchivu 5 / Hodné holky nezlobí: Intimita jako nástroj subverze

🟡 "Absence in the Video Archive" is already the fifth work of interdisciplinary interventions in the audiovisual art collection of the VVP AVU Video Archive, which was created in 2007-2018 and has been in the care of the National Film Archive since 2019. The fifth part entitled "Good girls don't get angry: Intimacy as a tool of subversion" was prepared by game scientist Tereza Fousek Krobová, who studies game audiences, mainly from a gender perspective. Together with her, without trying to generalize, we will look at what is the specific work of several female artists such as Anna Daučíková, Sláva Sobotovičová, Alžběta Bačíková and others. What are their recurring themes? How do these authors work with private and intimate space and the associated "feminine" activities? And what happens when they "step out" into a public space in which they are still a bit of an intruder?
