Dear friends, friends, family and you who go to work in time and get up on the first alarm clock (for me incomprehensible, hat down)! It will be a kind of metamorphosis in which I (still small organ) by turning into an organist (if it turns out).
The concert bears a subtitle: 10 views of organ music 20 and 21st century. It may show that the music of Baroque and romantic masters (not to mention Classicism) unfortunately that evening (or perhaps thankfully?) Will not sound.
I have given two goals: 1) to those of you who almost do not know organ music, I would like to show that organ music can be something other than Bach's epidemic toccata D-Moll; and 2) to demolish the prejudice that modern artificial music must be only dissonant. I chose the songs carefully and stacked in the program. So there will be works by ten different composers that have a wide genre shot: from neoarok and late romanticism, to Quasi Impressionism to minimalism and experiments with loose tonality.
It is probably no secret that if one is not alone for everything, he is doing better. Therefore, at my concert I will welcome a few guests whose names you will learn in an official invitation in a few days!
I am also incredibly glad that I can invite you to the Basilica of St. Ludmily on Prague's Miru Square, in my opinion it is one of the most beautiful temples in Prague! A very inspiring place with a great atmosphere. Well, because the next day you don't have to do anything and we can go together for liquid bread!
