ACT NOW! Ein Abend gegen Gewalt an Frauen | UN Women Austria

UN Women Austria cordially invites you to the event “Act Now - an evening against violence against women” as part of the “Orange the World” campaign 2024!

In a world where one in three women still experiences violence, it is time for us to stand up together and act! This evening we want to make a clear statement against violence against women and girls /strong> - for a society free from discrimination and injustice.

We have invited the following keynote speakers who the topic of (male) violence against women from different perspectives illuminate:

• Ursula Strauss |Singer, actress, Orange the World -Campaign Ambassador
• Ali Mahlodji | Entrepreneur, author
• Therese Frank | Lawyer & Marcus Wadsak | ORF weather presenter
• Eva-Maria Burger | Head of the Department for Women and Family at AK Vienna

The event will be moderated by Ö3 presenter Elke Rock.

The evening will be accompanied musically by the femchor and U Strauss with seriousness Molden.

Afterwards we invite you to a buffet and networking.

The feminist artist Kinga Jakabffy designed the work “LAST SUPPER” for the campaign. There will be the opportunity to purchase art prints of the subject on site and online. The net proceeds benefit international UN Women projects.
