The story of the closest friendship with an unpredictable end. The story that became a literary sensation in the US in 1939 and at the same time came to the list of banned books by the German Reich Commissioner. A story about what can become real living people crazy with warped ideology. A story that is unfortunately immortal and today is a worldwide bestseller.

The story "too strong to appear under the female name of the author" and was therefore released under the pseudonym Kressmann Taylor. The writer was most terrified that no one in America in 1938 realized what was happening in Germany, and no one was interested.

The performance is played in English.
