About event
Christmas in the Ružinov Library starts on November 28th🎄
We invite you to a unique Advent concert by the women's vocal-instrumental trio Paper Moon Trio, which will play the most beautiful Christmas songs in an original version 🎻🎶🎸
Its members Barbora Medeková (vocals, ukulele), Kristína Uhlíková (vocals, violin) and Andrea Kružliaková (vocals, guitar) met already in 2009 in Hot Jazz Orchestra Bratislava Hot Serenaders. In this exceptional group of performers, they have mastered the original "close harmony" singing technique, and this is the mainstay of the authentic performance of songs from the 1920s to the 1950s, which make up the Paper Moon Trio's repertoire.
The musical arrangements of the songs and the compositions of the arrangements for their specific cast are created by themselves, on the basis of honest listening to the original recordings. They are inspired by foreign vocal groups from the 1930s such as The Boswell Sisters, The Mills Brothers, but also the Czechoslovak trios Včielky, Sisters Skovajs, Mikulovo Trio, Allanov Sisters and others.
Free entry 🫶
