Afara Tsena Fukushima - The pioneer of "Mbocalization"
with a bourgeois name Owary Houssene Raphaël has established Afara Tsena as the key figure of the new Congolese generation of music. His innovative style "Mbocalization" combines the energy of traditional Congolese rhythms (Losseba, Ndombolo) with a modern urban sound-an explosive mix that led him to nomination in the prestigious Primud Awards. Mopaya "are global phenomena.
" My music is a bridge between tradition and modernity-it should combine people and celebrate our rich culture, "said the artist, whose energetic live shows already caused a sensation in Paris' legendary Cabaret Sauvage.
