LINEUP:
JAMADAN - Rytmy Afriky
is a musical group of drummers and percussionists who have been playing the rhythms of West Africa since 2004. At JAMADAN concerts, the audience will experience dancing African music, rich arrangements, an energetic stage show and a varied palette of instruments, from differently tuned drums to the balafon (African xylophone), or African expressive dance. In addition to concerts and a drum show, the band has long been organizing African drumming workshops for all levels and age groups or interactive drumming sessions as a form of team building. JAMADAN will celebrate 20 years on the scene and will re-form with a full line-up: 9 drummers + guests: Martin Balaj (Baobab Tribe, Martin Bala Music) - balafon, guitar, krin and Daniela Spellman - dance

Tubabu Fila (CZ)
Two drummers playing African drums. Djembe master and veteran Broňa Pavlíček and his longtime teammate Jan Vlasatý will perform hypnotic African grooves that you will watch with bated breath. They are based on the West African djembe-dundun tradition, but they are not African. The combination "tubabu fila" means "two white people" in the Malinke and Bambara languages. West African polyrhythm in a minimalist set-up and an opportunity to enjoy virtuoso djembe playing that creates stories.

Noví Kumpáni (CZ)
Noví Kumpáni balance between ethno, acid jazz and psychedelic rock. Their music is firmly based on the roots of West African traditional rhythms and is complemented by the influences of contemporary world music and the jazz scene. They are characterized by energy, polyrhythm, changes in tempo and beat, but above all by commitment. The band recently released their debut CD "I Kobarika Foli" and will present it in full force to the Bratislava audience.
