About event

Ritual of cleaning and rooting. Partially participating physical performance of the Cameroon performer érica Delphin kwégoué. However, Cheikh Anta Diop, a scientist, historian, anthropologist and pioneer in the desire to write the history of Africa before colonization, defends the thesis that all forms of religious thinking exist in the world have their origin in the way of life of clans and ethnic groups of Africa. There are an incredible number of such forms of thinking: there are almost 300 dialects in Cameroon alone and each village has its own ceremonies and practices. With the advent of large monotheistic religions, such as Christianity and Islam, many local beliefs have been overshadowed or even expelled, and religion has become a basic tool for enslaving the population. While the material wealth that has been captivated in this way is no longer discussed, the wealth of mind is even less discussed. Yet we must not be hypersensitive, and we can also quote historian Olivier Greneilleau, who criticizes the excessive tolerance of the Church to the horrors of slavery, but at the same time noticing the courage of some theologians who have already condemned them in a very early stage. L'Afrique n'ira plus au vatican invites us to question dogmatic religions in order to maintain the diversity of faith, whatever it is.

eric Delphin kwégoué: A distinctive look. The source of the cell memory that has certainly been questioned. I was obvious to me to create a performance on the basis of these considerations: how better than to talk about genetic heritage? The body is put into a state of trance related to African religions trying to overcome the physical self. This comes through reconciliation, courage to say "no" when we start fighting. "Africa will not get into the Vatican" my mission, which consists of destruction of our ideas, which will create a new thinking borrowed from the traditions of African ancestors. We all find each other at our collective rituals and reconnecting with our deities. " The vampire was created by the author of the author and the theater has been influenced by the authority. He was kidnapped and later murdered to the Radio Moderator Martinez Zog, who was informed about government corruption in Cameroon. He found the second home in France. Some of his games came across the resistance of the regime in his native country. This was the fate of the Out drama (2013) on homosexuality, which is illegal and hard in Cameroon, or La Ménapause du Quotidien (2020, daily menopause) by the forty -four -year government of President Paul Biyi. In the framework of creative Africa we will introduce the monodrama Taxiwoman, in which the author tells the story of a young woman who wants to become a taxi driver, a job that all men perform in her family. However, it encounters the prejudices of patriarchal society. At the same time, we will introduce the performance of Africa to the Vatican (Afrique N'Ira plus au Vatican). It is an impressive ritual of cleaning and rooting.
