Who was Noor Inayat Khan? In our event we tell the story of their lives. It begins in Moscow and ends in the Dachau concentration camp.
Noor was born in 1914. She is a descendant of an Indian king. Her father is a musician and brings the teachings of Sufism - a peaceful, spiritual branch of Islam - to Europe. Noor grew up in England and France. When the Nazis occupy Paris, she joins the resistance. Noor used to be a children's book author and psychologist. But then she becomes a spy - brave, clever and full of risk.
How could the dreamy Madeleine - that's what she called herself - become such a skilled spy?
