Aha! Livi & Eunjeong: Pod lampou

Under the lamp is a personal evening of two dancers who look back at where they came from and where they are today. A relaxed space for dancing, small language mistakes, shared fears, funny memories and the discovery that one is not alone in the dark when someone is sitting next to them is created between them.

The motif of light is present all the time – a children's night lamp, a starlight with music, flashlights, Christmas lights, candles, a small "lighthouse" and reflectors gradually create different environments and moods. Each lamp opens a different memory.

Eunjeong and Lívia return to their dancing childhood, to the years in an international school with broken English, to their relationships, to the first steps in the theater and to stories that we usually keep to ourselves. The stage alternates between dance images, physical comedy about mutual misunderstanding, projections of short videos and old photos, as well as short letters to the "younger me", read under the lamp.

Under the lamp, the evening is based on sharing - simple, personal and built on what is absolutely enough: two people, a few lights and a willingness to speak openly.
