**About Matt Rhoades, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of MatteLab**
Matt Rhoades is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of [MatteLab](https://www.mattelab.com/), a Portland-based product design agency. With over 30 years of experience in industrial design and product strategy, he has worked across industries from sports to consumer goods, earning multiple patents and industry awards. Previously, he was the Global Creative Director of Athletic Training and Team Sports Equipment at Nike. Matt has also held leadership roles at Fox Racing, Frog Design, and Trek Bicycle. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Design from ArtCenter College of Design and an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from Marylhurst University.
