What we will talk about
Artificial intelligence is no longer the music of the future - it dramatically changes our choices, relationships, work world and ability to concentrate. A generation growing up in an algorithmically controlled online space is facing a mental health crisis, deepfakes are threatening trust in democratic processes, and the digital attention economy is undermining the fundamental pillars of civil society.
Panel discussion "AI between humanity and algorithms: who will set the boundaries?" will bring the perspective of four experts from different fields – psychology and philosophy of technology, information technology law, cognitive science and political science. Together they will look for answers to the questions:
• How to preserve humanity in a world dominated by algorithms?
• Where are the limits of the use of artificial intelligence and who should determine them?
• What legal instruments can protect society from the misuse of AI?
• How do social media and the digital environment shape our political thinking and civic competence?
We are looking forward to the meeting
