About event

We use AI to write, create, plan, think, and sometimes even feel. We talk to her, but maybe it's time we talk about her too. In connection with the exhibition 404: Collapse (https://a4.sk/events/2025/09/25/diana-michalicova-404-collapse-2/) we will experiment together and think about what generative artificial intelligence actually is (and is not) is).

With artists and experts, we explore how these systems shape creativity, how much they cost the environment or what happens to authorship and attention. And what's most important: how to stay alert without losing the benefits of artificial intelligence.

Program
5.30pm Guided tour
Artist Diana Michaličová will present her exhibition 404: Collapse. He will share his creative process, inspiration and how he uses digital technologies and artificial intelligence in his artistic practice.

18:00 Discussion
Interview with Diana Michaličová and guests Milan Novot and Ján Trangel. Together they will discuss how generative artificial intelligence works and what dangers and risks it brings. They will discuss data leaks, bias, copyright, environmental impact, hallucinations and existential threat. How can we deal with these risks in everyday life?

Discussion profile:
Milan Novota is a technological innovator and entrepreneur who has been connecting digital technologies with people's practical needs for over twenty years. As an expert consultant and strategist, he focuses on the transformative impact of technology – including artificial intelligence – on work processes. However, he is also interested in the wider impacts of the introduction of technology on the functioning of society. He is a co-organizer of the contemporary culture festival Kvantum. He studied philosophy at the Comenius University in Bratislava.

Ján Trangel has been working as the editor of the technology portal Živé.sk since 2005. It focuses on topics in hardware, cyber security and artificial intelligence. Currently, he also takes care of the introduction of artificial intelligence services into practice at the Ringier Slovakia Media publishing house. He prepares trainings on various aspects of the deployment of AI in practice, helps to create new AI products for publishing needs and suggests extensions of current products with the use of AI. He is the co-author of the book Artificial intelligence: Prepare for the future.

You can participate in one part of the program or stay for the entire event.
