About event
Dear parents and teachers,
We are waiting for the last Zmudri digital consultation in this calendar year. It will be held on November 26 at the usual time of 18:30 - 20:00 at the premises of the Orange Digital Center.
We have decided, in cooperation with the InTYMYta organization - also based on your feedback - to choose a topic that is currently very relevant and needs to be talked about.
Heart and algorithm: AI relationships and your child
Imagine that your child says that has a "friend" in an AI app.
How will you react?
With fear, curiosity, or silence?
Modern technologies are changing the way young people experience closeness, seek support and learn about relationships.
This interactive lecture will guide you through the phenomenon of AI companions, chatbots and virtual friends and help you understand what these new "relationships" they mean for your child and their emotional development.
You will learn how:
- AI is changing ideas about closeness, consent and intimacy - and what this means for young people's relationship skills,
- recognize opportunities and risks from supporting emotional well-being to possible confusion in relationships,
- have open and safe conversations with your child about his interactions with AI, without panicking or trivializing,
- staying trustworthy an accompanying person so that your child feels that he will find support, understanding and boundaries at home.
The interactive lecture combines knowledge and practical tips to take away concrete ways to think about the boundaries between virtual and real closeness, while supporting the child's healthy emotional and relational skills.
All parents, educators, school psychologists and anyone who works with children and youth.
