AIRBOURNE
14 February 2025 – Cineteatro Cavaleiro, Lisbon
With a track record of hits such as «Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast», «Live It Up» and «Backseat Boogie», the Australians of AIRBOURNE promise a memorable and energetic show in what will be their first performance under their own name in our country.~
The more bands can explore and convincingly channel the true rock'n'roll spirit, the better; especially now – the planet is already definitely on a highway to hell, so it's a good thing we have a proper soundtrack. Serving irascible attitude and a healthy dose of good humor supported by anthemic, vibrant and energy-packed songs for over two decades, AIRBOURNE is the appropriate band for the moment. After, in the summer of 2022, they “set fire to” the National Stadium with an explosive show as “support” for Iron Maiden, the Australian musicians will debut in their own name here and, in their luggage, they bring their electrifying rock 'n' energy. roll to serve national fans a show not to be missed, scheduled for February 14, 2025, at Cineteatro Cavaleiro, in Lisbon.
Coming from Warrnambool, a small town on the southwest coast of Victoria, Australia, Over the last two decades, AIRBOURNE has won hearts with explosive shows and an unmistakable attitude, supported by a sequence of albums that have provoked comparisons to their greatest source of inspiration: fellow countrymen AC/DC. Despite the obvious similarities, both are Australian and have brothers in their line-up, the quartet formed by Joel O'Keeffe, Justin Street, Brett Tyrrell and Ryan O'Keeffe very credibly embodies the spirit of blue collar rock'n'roll, in songs made of memorable riffs and lyrics full of bravado.
With a perfect mix of classic rock'n'roll and hard rock influences, the quartet has established itself as one of the most important proposals of his generation in the spectrum of music made with guitars and, based on a career full of successes and acclaim from the press, he has released explosive albums, which have won the hearts of fans around the world. From their debut «Runnin' Wild», from 2007, which became a true classic of modern rock, to what is, at the time, their most recent full-length album, the infectious «Boneshaker», from 2019, the band has been demonstrating their ability to reinvent themselves, whilst remaining as true as possible to their roots and an unwavering passion for rock'n'roll. Result: don't miss the opportunity to witness AIRBOURNE's unstoppable energy live, in a show that will certainly leave no one indifferent.
